FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick Keys are excited to reveal their newest alternate jersey for the 2026 season. This new blue fireworks jersey and logo is a thrilling addition ahead of the team’s home opener and first postgame fireworks show on Tuesday, April 14. The new logo proudly pays tribute to Francis Scott Key, the author of the Star-Spangled Banner, who is buried across the road from Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. It also nods to the firework elements present in our previous logo as well as a valued Frederick Keys tradition: postgame fireworks.

Along with the new logo, the Keys players will be wearing special firework jerseys on select nights throughout the season. Red fireworks on the front and back of the jersey are prominently displayed on a blue gradient base. Red, white and blue Keys script and numbering can be found on the jersey with the United States flag on the left sleeve. The on-field cap to be worn with these special uniforms will be blue with the new flag and fireworks logo proudly displayed on the front.

This new logo suite comes after the Keys announced a brand refresh back on October 23, 2025 with the first set of new logos paying homage to the Orioles’ iconic wordmark and the team’s orange and black color palette. Firework alternate uniforms, as well as the entire on-field collection, are available for purchase by clicking here.

Frederick will take the field for the first time this season on Friday, April 3 in the first of a three-game series against the Hub City Spartanburgers. First pitch from Fifth Third Park in Spartanburg is set for 7:05 p.m. The Keys will have their home opener on Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. against the Hudson Valley Renegades (Yankees) at the newly renovated Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Single game tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting Frederickkeys.com.
