Renegades Look to Defend New York-Penn League Championship

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY- The Hudson Valley Renegades Class-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, have announced their 2018 New York-Penn League schedule. The Renegades have previously won the

New York-Penn League Championship in 1999, 2012 and added their third title in 2017 after sweeping the Vermont Lake Monsters.

 

The 2018 schedule will feature 38 home games at Dutchess Stadium. The breakdown of days are as follows: Sunday games (7), Monday games (5), Tuesday games (5), Wednesday games (3), Thursday games (6), Friday games (6), and Saturday games (6).

 

Start times for Renegades home schedule are as follows:

 

Sunday home games                    5:05 p.m.

Monday home games                   7:05 p.m.

Tuesday home games                   7:05 p.m. Exception: July 31st - 11:05 a.m.

Wednesday home games              7:05 p.m.

Thursday home games                  7:05 p.m.

Friday home games                      7:05 p.m.

Saturday home games                   6:05 p.m. Exception June 23rd - 7:05 p.m.

 

"We are thrilled to be releasing our 2018 schedule now," said Eben Yager, Vice President and General Manager for the Hudson Valley Renegades. "Our staff is excited for our 25th season at Dutchess Stadium and we are looking forward to bringing back a lot of memories and creating new ones for all of our fans."

 

The Renegades season officially starts June 15th at the Aberdeen Ironbirds for a three-game series and then on to the Brooklyn Cyclones for a three-game set before returning to Dutchess Stadium. The Renegades home opener will be Thursday June 21st, against the Vermont Lake Monsters at 7:05 p.m. Season Tickets, Mini-Plans, Group Tickets, Picnics and Skyboxes are currently on sale.
