We Care Wednesday presented by Westchester Medical Center Health Network

The Hudson Valley Renegades and Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) are proud to continue their We Care Wednesday program into 2026.

‘We Care Wednesday’ was created to highlight community organizations at each of the Renegades’ Wednesday home games while allowing the non-profit organizations to promote their group and spread awareness about their work in the community throughout the game.

The Renegades aim to partner with both locally and nationally recognized non-profit organizations as we take pride in building high quality relationships and servicing organizations to create awareness, as well as positive and everlasting impacts in our local community.

The Renegades are now registering We Care Wednesday community partners for the 2026 season. For questions or information regarding the program, contact Jessica Levinson, Community Relations Manager, at [email protected] or by calling (845) 838-0094.

Project ADAM was founded in 1999 after the sudden death of Adam Lemel, a 17‑year‑old student from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, who collapsed while playing basketball. Adam experienced Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) caused by ventricular fibrillation, a rhythm in which the heart can no longer pump blood effectively. Early defibrillation—using an AED—might have saved his life. In his memory, Adam’s parents, Patty and Joe Lemel, partnered with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to create a program dedicated to preventing similar tragedies in schools and communities.
