LOUISVILLE, KY. - Tyler Glasnow tossed six innings and the bullpen followed him with three scoreless frames as the Indianapolis Indians topped the Louisville Bats on Saturday night, 3-2.

Glasnow (7-0) earned his seventh victory in only his 10th start for Indianapolis (61-52) this season. He allowed just two runs over six innings and struck out seven batters. The right-hander conceded just one free pass.
Johnny Barbato worked scoreless frames in the seventh and eighth innings, and Edgar Santana closed out Louisville (44-68) for his sixth save of the season.
While the Bats struck first, the Indians jumped in front with two runs in the second inning. With two aboard, Gift Ngoepe doubled to right field to plate Elias Díaz. Phil Gosselin advanced to third on the play and he scored when Kevin Newman legged out a fielder's choice to keep the inning alive.
Louisville tied the game in the bottom of the second inning on Zach Vincej's single, but the Tribe pulled in front in the top of the fourth. Newman led off the frame with a bunt single, and he later scored when Joey Terdoslavich hit a sacrifice fly to center field. It gave the game its final margin of 3-2.
Jackson Stephens (7-7) started for Louisville and struggled with his command. He walked five batters in four innings and took the loss.
Indianapolis will look for the sweep of the Bats on Sunday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m., and the game can be heard live on Fox Sports 97.5 FM / 1260 AM WNDE. Steven Brault (8-5, 2.20) will take the mound for the Tribe.
