The Iowa Cubs (51-71) scored four runs in the 10th inning to lead them to a 7-3 win over the Toledo Mud Hens (58-66) tonight at Fifth Third Field.
James Triantos led off the game with a home run to give the I-Cubs a 1-0 lead. Toledo then took a 2-1 lead in the fifth, but Iowa regained the lead in the ninth as Ethan Hearn singled home a run and Jordan Nwogu scored on an error to make it 3-2.
The Mud Hens got the run back in the bottom half of the ninth to send it to extra innings. In the 10th, Greg Jones walked home a run and Justin Dean drove three runs in with a double to push the lead to 7-3.
