Jacksonville’s final tally came in the bottom of the sixth. Dane Myers led off with a base hit and went to third on a double from Mesa Jr. With runners on second and third, a passed ball allowed Myers to score the seventh run for the Jumbo Shrimp, giving them a three-run advantage.

The Knights offense was rolling early but sputtered late in the contest. Colson Montgomery (1) hit his first Triple-A home run with two outs as Charlotte trailed 7-5.
