Independence Day fireworks on July 3, July 4

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 3, 2015) - The Independence Day holiday weekend is here, and the Kannapolis Intimidators are celebrating with fireworks both tonight (Friday, July 3) following the Intimidators game and tomorrow (Saturday, July 4) at the All-American Community Celebration at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System. Tickets for both events are still available by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting IntimidatorsBaseball.com.

Tonight the Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, host the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates) at 7:05 p.m. to wrap up a nine-game home stand. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the team will shoot off fireworks following the game presented by the City of Kannapolis. Reserved level seats are only $10 with general admission seating $8 (tickets for kids 4-12 and seniors 55+ are $1 less; children 3 and under sitting in a lap do no require a ticket).  

Fans are invited back to the ballpark on Saturday to spend the Fourth of July at the All-American Community Celebration at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. with a youth baseball game starting at 7:05 p.m. The ballpark will also feature an expanded kids zone with additional inflatables, a dunk tank where fans can attempt to dunk Intimidators Super-Fan "Uh Huh," and DJ U.S.A. playing all the best dances and All-American mixes. Following the youth baseball game, all children wearing red, white, and blue will be invited onto the field for our patriotic parade at approximately 8:30 p.m. General Admission tickets are only $5 (tickets for kids 4-12 and seniors 55+ are $4) and can be purchased by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting IntimidatorsBaseball.com.

Parking on both nights is only $2 per car, and motorcycle parking is free on Saturday courtesy of RideNow PowerSports of Concord. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as both nights are expected to draw capacity crowds to the ballpark.
