KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 8, 2013) - Woof. Bark. Woof Intimidators woof. Bark.

Translation: The Kannapolis Intimidators are hosting two Bark in the Park Days this season, presented by South Ridge Veterinary Hospital, giving fans a chance to bring man's best friend to watch man's favorite sport. Bark in the Park will be Sunday, June 2 and Sunday, July 14, with gates opening for both games at 4 p.m. and first pitch at 5:05 p.m. Pet owners can pick up complementary tickets at South Ridge Veterinary Hospital, located at 1920 South Ridge Avenue in Kannapolis.

The event promises to be a dog-gone good time as the Intimidators will host special contests and promotions, including best-dressed dog, best trick, and a dog/owner look-alike contest. Before the game, fans can watch the "Paw Parade" as dogs will be allowed to parade around the warning track prior to first pitch. Special vendor displays will also be set up on the concourse for your pet care needs.

Fans who bring their four-legged friends will be able to enter the ballpark through a special gate and will have access to the picnic shelter with water bowls and shade for dogs. The Intimidators will also provide bags for waste disposal, and fans are asked to promptly pick up after their pets. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
