March 27, 2014

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (March 27, 2014) - Fans of the Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, can "step up to the plate" when they order any of the half-dozen newest concessions items offered at CMC-NorthEast Stadium.

This season, the Intimidators have added Helmet Nachos, a 64 ounce serving of our famous Loaded Nachos served in a wearable souvenir batting helmet. A helmet full of popcorn is also available at the Snack Shack. In addition to these heaping helpings, fans can also enjoy new pretzel dogs as well as breaded chicken sandwiches served fresh at the main concessions stand. The Intimidators will also offer a southern favorite often enjoyed by The Intimidator - Dale's Mater Sandwich, a tomato sandwich with Duke's Mayonnaise served at the Hot Dog Hut.

A new BBQ Stand, located adjacent to the Hot Dog Hut and Funnel Cake stand, will feature delicious pulled pork BBQ and pulled turkey sandwiches. These new items will compliment the Intimidators full roster of mouth-watering meals available all season long, including "The Colossal," a foot-long, half-pound hot dog. The Hot Dog Hut's more than 20 unlimited toppings can now be put on top of our new Italian Sausages, served with grilled peppers and onions.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream has been added to help keep fans cool during the summer. The Intimidators also have increased our beer selection to 15 different brews, including Lagunitas IPA. Reds Apple Ale, Corona Light and Lime-a-Ritas have also been added to the Beer Garden for 2014.

Fruit Shoot juices - in both apple and berry flavors - are now available at the main stand as drink options for kids meals.

Because it all sounds - and tastes - so good, fan can continue to enjoy Belly Buster Mondays this season, a all-you-can-eat evening for only $10 at every Monday home game in 2014 (excludes drinks, candy and third-party vendors).

The Intimidators are preparing for the 20th season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and 14th as a Chicago White Sox affiliate. Opening Night of the 2014 season is Thursday, April 3, against the Greenville Drive at 7:05 p.m. Since the team came to town in 1995, a total of 77 players have gone from Kannapolis to the Major Leagues, including 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams and 2007 NL MVP Jimmy Rollins. Season tickets, mini-plans and select single-game seats are currently available by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting the team website at www.IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
