MEMPHIS, TN – The Memphis Redbirds continued a 12-game homestand with a 7-2 to the Norfolk Tides on Friday night at AutoZone Park.

Third baseman Taylor Motter had one of his best games as a Memphis Redbird with his third straight multi-hit games. The right-handed hitter was 2-for-4 with a double and scored the first Memphis run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Dakota Hudson (1-3) made his second start since coming off of the Injured List. The right-handed pitcher tossed 3.0 innings, allowed two runs on six hits, walked one and struck out two. Reliever Ryan Loutos pitched two scoreless innings and struck out three batters, all on his knuckle-curve.

Shortstop Masyn Winn also added a multi-hit effort with a 2-for-5 night. Designated hitter Matt Koperniak and first baseman Luken Baker drove in the two Redbirds runs with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The Redbirds (26-23) return to AutoZone Park on Saturday, May 26 to continue a 12-game homestand at 6:35p.m. CDT. You can find more information on upcoming promotions at AutoZone Park here.
