RockHounds Fall in Extras to Missions

Friday, San Antonio forced extra innings with a ninth-inning rally, only to see the RockHounds walk off in the 13^th inning on Skye Bolt's home run. Saturday, the Missions rallied in the ninth again ... and finished the comeback with a grand slam game-winner in extras.
Ty France took Nolan Blackwood's 1-1 pitch out over the high wall in left with the bases loaded, breaking a 5-5 tie in the 10^th inning and pushing the Missions to a 9-6 win.
The RockHounds took a 5-3 lead into the ninth, built in part on Bolt's second home run in as many nights. The Missions not only rallied back again, the game-tying hit came off the same bat as it did Friday. River Stevens sent a bases-loaded single to left-center with two out in the ninth to knot the game at 5-5. His RBI single, also with two out in the ninth, had forced extra innings in Friday's game.
San Antonio snapped a six-game losing streak (and stayed within three-and-a-half games of first place Frisco in the Texas League South) while the 'Hounds lost for the first time in three games in the series.
Notables
Ty France's grand slam was his second of the season and pushed him past the RockHounds' Seth Brown back into second place in the Texas League with 76 RBI.
As huge as France's (ultimately game-winning) swing was, he never would have had the opportunity without the heroics from River Stevens. The Missions shortstop has forced extra two nights in-a-row ... each time with two outs ... on ninth-inning game-tying RBI singles.  
Tyler Ramirez (2-for-4, two RBI) has hit in six straight games (14-for-25, .560) and has reached base in 12 straight (20-45, .408) with 15 RBI. Tyler now has 66 RBI for the season, ranking sixth in the league.
Luis Barrera, who had been a late scratch from the starting lineup, entered the game in the last of the ninth as a pinch hitter and singled to left, extending his on-base streak to 16 games (.351). Luis now has hits in nine-of-his-last-10 games (.389).  
Skye Bolt has hit in seven straight games (after going 0-for-22 in his previous six). With his second home run in as many games, Skye is 10-for-29 (.345) in the seven-gamer, with four doubles, two HR and nine RBI.
Nate Mondou (1-for-4, HBP) has hits in four straight games (9-for-17) and in 11-of-his-last-12 (.360) with nine RBI.
Eli White (2-for-4, two runs. walk) has hit in five straight games (11-for-30, .367) and has reached in 30-of-33 games, hitting .370 in that span (with a .445 on-base percentage).
Richie Martin (2-for-4, run, RBI, walk) has reached base in 16 straight games (.303) and is hitting .318 in his last 21 games.
Seth Brown (1-for-5, run, double, RBI) has hit in seven straight games (9-for-28, .321) with five doubles and seven RBI. In his last 15 games, Seth is hitting .313, with eight doubles, one triple, two HR and 15 RBI. He now ranks third in the league with 74 ribbies.
