Fifth Third Field goes to the dogs Wednesday, 8/23

By Toledo Mud Hens | August 8, 2017 10:54 AM ET

Bark by popular demand! The Toledo Mud Hens will host a second dog friendly night at Fifth Third Field during Hens and Hounds Night on Wednesday, August 23. That night we'll have a special area set up at the ballpark for fans to catch the action with their furry companions.

Tickets for dog owners are $12 each, and tickets for your furry companion are $8 each. 100 percent of the dog ticket proceeds will benefit Toledo Area Humane Society.

Fans with their dog are asked to enter Fifth Third Field through the Center Field Gate near the corner of Monroe and St. Clair. There will also be access to Hensville Park, located just outside of the Home Run Picnic Terrace (see on map).

  • The first 300 dogs will receive a doggie prize.
  • All dogs and owners will sit in the Home Run Picnic Terrace (Sections 120 - 122).
  • Dog must be on a six foot (or less) leash. No retractable leashes are allowed.
  • Special water stations, mini-pools, and designated restroom areas will be provided.
  • We expect large crowds of both dog fans and Hens fans, so please bring only well-behaved and well-mannered dogs.
