Martinez, a 5-time American League All-Star, started his MLB career with Cleveland (2002-2009) before joining the Tigers in 2011. He played with the Mud Hens during rehab stints in 2011 (2 games) and 2015 (4 games).
The Mud Hens will take on the Indians on Saturday, September 2 at 7:05 p.m.
