Q: When will you know if future games will be cancelled?

A: With MiLB's announcement that its season will be delayed, we know the Keys will not be playing in April-June, at least. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for the most up to date information.

Q: What are you doing at the ballpark to make it safe for the spectators?

A: We are closely monitoring the health department recommendations here in the City of Frederick, Frederick County, and the State of Maryland and will continue to evolve our response as needed. Procedures such as ongoing regularly scheduled cleanings, multiple hand sanitation stations, social distancing, and other steps will be implemented should our season commences with fans in the ballpark.

Q: Can I come meet with you at the ballpark to discuss options or tour?

A: No, currently we are not allowing non-essential personnel at the ballpark for safety precautions.

Individual Game Tickets

Q: Can I come pick up my tickets or can I come down to purchase tickets?

A: No, currently we are not allowing non-essential personnel at the ballpark for safety precautions. Single game tickets are currently not available for purchase for the 2020 season.

Q: With MiLB pushing back the start of the season, how will this impact the Keys season?

A: With MLB's announcement that its season will be delayed, we know the Keys will not be playing in April-June. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for the most up to date information.

Q: My game has been postponed (or will not be played on the originally scheduled date) due to the Coronavirus. What happens to my tickets?

A: You are eligible to switch out your tickets to a future 2020 Frederick Keys home game.

Group Events: Rescheduling/Exchanges

Q: I have tickets to a future event. I don't feel comfortable attending the game, can I get a refund?

A: We understand your concern and can exchange your tickets for a future 2020 home game.

Q: What if we are open to changing our event date but we are unable to find a date that works?

A: If we are unable to find an event this season for your group, we are able to roll your group event deposit over to the 2021 season.

Q: Do we have any ability to get our deposit back due to the health situation?

A: Your deposit can be transferred to a future Frederick Keys home game later in the 2020 season.

B: If we are unable to find an event this season for your group, we are able to roll this deposit over to the 2021 season.

Season Ticket/Mini-Plan Holder Questions

Q: Can I come and pick up my season/mini-plan tickets?

A: No, at this current time, non-essential personnel are not allowed at the ballpark for safety precautions. We are holding off on mailing season/mini-plan tickets until we know what 2020 games will be played and when they will begin.

Q: If home games are canceled, will I receive credit for those games?

A: Yes, in the event home games are cancelled and not rescheduled/played due the Coronavirus, you have several options:

  1. Apply the balance of funds for any games not played to additional tickets for 2020
  2. Apply the funds for games not played toward the 2021 season

Sponsorship Partner Questions

Q: If Keys games are cancelled and not rescheduled/played due to the Coronavirus, will I get a refund for my sponsorship?

A: The Keys are developing a sponsorship plan based on several scenarios that take into consideration a partial baseball season. Plans will be in place based on the decision that Minor League Baseball makes regarding the schedule of games for the 2020 season.

Q: If the game I was supposed to have a concourse table is cancelled due to the coronavirus, what happens?

A: We will work with you to find another date for you to showcase your business.

Renting the Ballpark/Parking Lot For An Event

Q: Are the Keys renting the stadium or parking lot for non-baseball related events this summer or fall?

A: Yes! If you are interested in renting the stadium or parking lot for a potential event this summer or fall, please contact the Frederick Keys at [email protected]. with your contact information, the type of event you are looking to host, the expected number of attendees and the date(s) you are interested in and a member of our staff will contact you to discuss the options and possibilities.

We are closely monitoring the health department recommendations here in the City of Frederick, Frederick County and the State of Maryland and all events considered for the stadium/parking lot will be required to meet any and all of the laws, regulations and recommendations enacted in the City of Frederick, Frederick County and the State of Maryland.
