Four Senators Named to the Western Division All-Star Team

Braymer, 25, has made his first all-star team as a professional. The 18th round, 2016 selection by the Nationals is 4-4 with a 2.51 ERA. His best start of the season came on 6/12 at Richmond when he tossed 8 no-hit innings and allowed just one walk. The University of Auburn product is currently the #23 ranked prospect in the Nationals organization according to MLB.com.
Barrera, 24, an all-star for a second straight season after being named a mid-season all-star in the Carolina League last year. Barrera is hitting .279 with 4 HRs and 23 RBIs in 51 games. The University of Texas product drove in four runs Sunday, June 23 for the Senators against Bowie. Tres is currently the 19th ranked prospect in the Nationals organization according to MLB.com.
Sagdal, 26, has been selected to his first all-star game though he's twice been named a post-season All-Star. Ian is batting .255 with 5 HRs and 36 RBIs in 69 games with the Senators. The Washington State product was taken in the 16th round of the 2015 draft by the Nationals. Sagdal led the Carolina League in batting last year, finishing with a .318 average.
Wiseman, 25, was the Eastern League Player of the Month for April. Rhett is hitting .223 but has 11 HRs and 32 RBIs. Twice this season he's hit two home runs in a game. He was selected in the 3rd round of the 2015 draft by the Nationals out of Vanderbilt. He was named a post-season all-star with Potomac last year. He was also named the Eastern League Player of the Week April 14.
The Eastern Division and Western Division rosters each include 26 total players, with 11 pitchers and 15 position players on each team.
