Individual tickets on sale TOMORROW at TicketFest

Single-game tickets on sale, Anthem auditions start at 11 a.m. at ballpark

Fans, get your first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets and audition for a chance to sing the National Anthem at a Spikes home game at TicketFest 2015! The Spikes' season kickoff event will take place THIS SATURDAY from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

TicketFest 2015 will feature your first chance to purchase individual game tickets for any of the Spikes' 38 home dates on the 2015 schedule!

Beginning at TicketFest 2015, fans can purchase individual tickets in one of three ways:

In person at the Medlar Field at Lubrano Park Box Office
Online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at StateCollegeSpikes.com
By phone at (814) 272-1711 or toll-free at (877) 99-SPIKES.

Fans who purchased 2015 season tickets and Value Plans will also have the opportunity to pick up their tickets at the event.

Registration for the Spikes' free National Anthem auditions will take place starting at 11 a.m., and performers will try out in the order of registration at the ballpark. All tryouts will be a cappella and the anthem can be done solo, with a chorus, or as an instrumental. A panel of guest celebrity judges will rate the performances to help determine the roster of singers who will perform throughout the 2015 Spikes season.

Those interested in auditioning, but who cannot attend TicketFest, should contact Joe Putnam at (814) 272-1687 or [email protected] for details on how to submit demo materials. The Spikes will, however, give preference to individuals and groups who attend TicketFest in person.

Tomorrow's ballpark fun doesn't stop with TicketFest, either! Catch the Penn State Nittany Lions baseball team in action at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park as they take on Rutgers at 1:30 p.m.!

Any fan purchasing single-game tickets or picking up their tickets at TicketFest 2015 will receive free admission to the game, and gates will open at 11 a.m. to allow fans the chance to catch Nittany Lions batting practice!

Delicious ballpark food and drinks will also be available for purchase, and the Off The Rack Outfitters team store will also be open starting at 11 a.m. Fans can shop for a wide array of Spikes apparel and memorabilia, including New York-Penn League Championship merchandise.

The 2015 home schedule opens on Friday, June 19. The Spikes, the Class-A Short-Season affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and the defending New York-Penn League champions, will host 38 nights of fun, affordable family entertainment and future Major League Baseball stars through September 6.
