The Sacramento River Cats (58-74) settled for a split in the weekend doubleheader with the El Paso Chihuahuas (66-67), as they fell 1-0 in game two after holding on for a 7-4 victory in game one.

Omaha, NE - Chris Shaw helped get the Sacramento River Cats (48-64) back to their winning ways Saturday night as his go-ahead home run in the eighth inning put them up for good against the Omaha Storm Chasers (52-59) in the 5-4 victory.

The Sacramento River Cats (30-46) mounted promising comeback attempts late, but each of them fell flat as they dropped Tuesday night's game to the El Paso Chihuahuas (38-40) by a score of 5-2.

El Paso, TX - Tyler Beede earned his first road win of the season and lead the way for the Sacramento River Cats (30-45) as they took care of the El Paso Chihuahuas (37-40) 4-2 Monday night.

Chris Stratton was brilliant Tuesday night at Raley Field, leading the Sacramento River Cats (28-42) to a 4-1 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes (35-36)

The Sacramento River Cats (26-41) welcomed prospect Andrew Suárez to their staff Saturday night, and the lefty was quite impressive. The new addition was not enough to earn the team the win though, as the River Cats fell to the Albuquerque Isotopes (34-34) 8-4 at Raley Field.

In the longest game in the Pacific Coast League this season, the Sacramento River Cats (23-37) were unable to outlast the Reno Aces (33-23), falling 6-4 in 17 innings Friday night at Raley Field.

The Sacramento River Cats (18-28) used a big third inning and a strong outing from starter Michael Roth to down the Memphis Redbirds (29-19) 5-3 Thursday night at Raley Field.

The Sacramento River Cats (16-27) dropped the fourth and final game of their series against the Nashville Sounds (21-20) by a score of 9-3.
