July 18th: Volcanoes squeeze one by Boise 2-1

• After the Hawks strike first 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth, Ricardo Genoves hits a double over the head of the right fielder that scores Hunter Bishop and ties the game at 1.

• In the bottom of the seventh inning, Tyler Fitzgerald hits a single to right field, scoring Simon Whiteman , giving the Volcanoes the lead 2-1 over the Boise Hawks.

• Jesus Ozoria threw 5 innings for the Volcanoes, allowing 4 hits, a run, a walk and struck out 4 in the no-decision.

 The Volcanoes, now 22-12, will play their final home game of the first half of the NWL season tomorrow against the Hawks, who are now 15-19. Alex DuBord will be on the mound against the Hawks.
