Outside of his success, the Twins struggled offensively.
In the truest sense of the phrase, Saturday was a bullpen game for the E-Twins. Right-handed starter
Benjamin Dum took over in the eighth, surrendering the tying run but pitching a 1-2-3 ninth that forced extra innings. After the Twins could not score in the 10th, Dum continued his outing but only got one out, allowing the winning run to score on a fielder's choice, allowing the D-Braves to sweep the E-Twins.
Elizabethton continues its road trip in Princeton, for three against the Princeton Rays, Sunday to Tuesday before two in Johnson City against the Cardinals.
