Oklahoma City - A two-run homer in the second inning provided all of the offense the Reno Aces ended up needing in a 2-1 win against the Oklahoma City Dodgers Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
After a RBI single by O'Koyea Dickson in the third inning cut Reno's lead to one run, the Aces retired 18 of the final 20 Oklahoma City batters, including 12 straight to finish the game.

Friday closed out a four-game series between the teams and Reno earned a series split with the victory in front of a crowd of 9,544.
The Aces (62-44) took the game's first lead in the second inning when Willians Astudillo hit a two-run homer onto the Budweiser Deck in left field for a 2-0 Aces advantage.
Dodgers catcher Bobby Wilson led off the bottom of the third inning with a single and Charlie Culberson drew a two-out walk. Dickson followed and hit an infield single toward third base that allowed Wilson to score and cut Reno's lead to 2-1, but that would end up as the final run of the night for either team.
Dodgers starting pitcher Fabio Castillo (4-6) allowed two runs and five hits over four innings in his 14th start of the season for Oklahoma City. He did not allow a walk and recorded four strikeouts and was charged with the loss.
Dodgers relievers Yaisel Sierra, Jeremy Bleich and Madison Younginer then combined to hold the Aces scoreless over the final five innings and retired the final 10 Reno batters of the game.
The Aces loaded the bases with two outs in the sixth inning on two singles and an intentional walk. Reno pitcher Jake Buchanan then hit the ball toward second base. Dodgers shortstop Charlie Culberson made a diving stop behind second base and tossed the ball toward Willie Calhoun at second base for a force out to end the inning and keep the Dodgers within one run.
Buchanan, a former Oklahoma City RedHawk, was credited with the win on the mound for Reno, allowing just one run and four hits over seven innings with one walk and five strikeouts. Former Dodger Louis Coleman followed with a scoreless 1.1 innings before Jared Miller secured the final two outs of the game to earn his first save with the Aces.
Both pitching staffs recorded 10 strikeouts apiece as the Dodgers' record fell to 56-48 with the loss.
The Dodgers continue their homestand and open a four-game series against the Tacoma Rainiers at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
