OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers open a five-game home series against the Round Rock Express with an Independence Day celebration at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The holiday weekend series filled with special promotions then continues nightly through Sunday in Oklahoma City.
The Dodgers return home to kick off their series against the Express on the Fourth of July. Players and coaches will wear special Stars and Stripes hats as part of the Independence Day celebration at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and fireworks, presented by Modelo, are slated to illuminate the sky following the game. The same Stars and Stripes hats the players will wear will be available for purchase in the OKC Dodgers Team Store starting Tuesday.

The holiday weekend series continues with two more fireworks nights at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Thursday's 7:05 p.m. game falls on a $2 Thursday, featuring $2 Pepsi products, bottled water and select beer. The Dodgers meet the Express at 7:05 p.m. Friday in OKC. Fireworks are scheduled to follow both games, presented by Francis Tuttle and True Sky Credit Union, respectively.
Saturday is Oklahoma City 89ers Night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Dodgers players and coaches will wear special 89ers jerseys and hats throughout the 7:05 p.m. game. Their game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via a silent auction to benefit the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation.

The Oklahoma City 89ers played at All Sports Stadium, formerly located at the state fairgrounds, from 1962-1997. The 89ers won two Pacific Coast League titles in 1963 and 1965 and two American Association titles in 1992 and 1996 before the franchise located to Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in 1998 and became known as the RedHawks, and now as the Dodgers.

Retro-inspired 89ers merchandise will be available for purchase in the OKC Dodgers Team Store, including a limited number of the same 89ers hats the team will wear on the field. The hats will be available for purchase starting Saturday.
Gates open at 6 p.m. Saturday, and the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a complimentary Dodgers floor mat.
The final series before the PCL All-Star Break wraps up with a 1:05 p.m. game Sunday against the Express in Bricktown.
The game falls on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and-greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases.
Five hundred OERB Player of the Month posters, featuring June winner Edwin Ríos, will be available to children ages 12 and under as they exit the ballpark Sunday. The posters will showcase an action shot of the Ríos, who was selected through a social media poll, as well as informational OERB graphics about well site safety.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday's games will be televised live on YurView on Cox (channel 1333) for all Cox cable subscribers. Each TV broadcast will begin five minutes before first pitch.
