PawSox Game Postponed Tonight
Tonight's (Monday's) scheduled International League game between the host Pawtucket Red Sox and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (AAA-Philadelphia) at McCoy Stadium has been postponed due to rain and wet field conditions. The rain is expected to continue until tomorrow morning.

This marks the second straight Monday game rained-out at McCoy and the fifth postponement for the PawSox already this season (2 at home and 3 on the road).
Tonight's wash-out will be made-up as part of a single-admission doubleheader during Lehigh Valley's next trip to Pawtucket on Tuesday, May 28 at 4:05 pm at McCoy. Both those games will be 7-innings.
Fans holding field box seats, reserved box seat tickets or general admission tickets for Monday (without a specific rainout date printed on them) can trade those in for any remaining regular-season game at McCoy based on availability.
The PawSox and Lehigh Valley will get their abbreviated series at McCoy underway tomorrow (Tuesday) night with a single game at the regularly scheduled time of 6:05 pm. The Sox and IronPigs will now play a 3-game set with games Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:05 pm and then the series (and homestand) finale on Thursday at 12:05 pm.
As mentioned, tonight's postponement is the second at home this season for the PawSox (last Monday, April 15 vs. Buffalo the other) and the fifth of the year already (April 5 in Syracuse, April 10 in Buffalo, and April 19 in Syracuse the others). The PawSox endured 5 postponements all of last season (4 at home and 1 on the road).
