Parking at Polar Park

FREE Parking Tuesdays in April & May

For every Tuesday in April & May (including Opening Day!), WooSox fans can park for FREE at one of three city lots:

  • 25 Madison St. (across the street from Coney Island Hot Dogs)
  • Union Station Garage (225 Franklin St.)
  • McGrath Lot (40 Salem St., next to the Worcester Public Library)

For the Madison St. Lot, simply pull into the lot and park in a marked spot.

For Union Station Garage and the McGrath Lot, simply grab a ticket from the gate machine as you pull in, and then use that ticket when you exit at the gate machine. You do not have to pay/validate that ticket.

Parking Overview

Through a combination of publicly and privately owned areas, there are at least 22 known parking lots or garages available to fans within a half mile walking radius of Polar Park, with over 7,300 total parking spaces in that area and more than 3,900 available spaces on any given game day or night. For a ballpark the size of Polar Park, having approximately 2,500 total parking spaces for fans within a half mile radius is recommended, and the City of Worcester and the WooSox have teamed up to provide the below overview of parking options near the ballpark, including several options for pre-booked parking for those fans who would like to do so in advance of the game.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on Green Island Boulevard and Canal Street. Starting three hours prior to first pitch, only vehicles with accessible parking placards or license plates may use the on-street parking spaces on Green Island Boulevard and Canal Street. Accessible parking plates and placards allow people to park vehicles in designated accessible parking spaces. They also allow people to park at any meter without paying fees or penalties.

Accessible parking license plates are issued for cars or motorcycles. Placards are displayed on the rearview mirror, and are issued to qualified residents on a temporary or permanent basis. For more information on accessibility parking plates and placards, visit https://www.mass.gov/disability-plates-and-placards.

The information and pricing below is specific to WooSox 2024 games. Pricing and availability may vary for special events.
