Fans at Saturday's game at Blue Wahoos Stadium witnessed history, as Pensacola became the first baseball team ever to have every player take the field in a different jersey designed by a different fan. For this first-of-its-kind promotion, half of the team's uniforms were designed by local fans who purchased the jersey and the opportunity to decorate it in advance from the team's store. The other half of the uniform set was colored by young patients at a local children's hospital with proceeds from an in-game jersey auction benefitting the children in their recovery.
