COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines at Hadlock Field

Baseball is back! The Sea Dogs will open the 2021 season with Hadlock Field operating at 28% capacity. The 28% capacity was determined by laying out the seats in the ballpark in a way that every pod of seats is at least 6-feet from other pods. The safety of our fans continues to be our top priority. Below you'll find some of the notable steps being taken to support that effort at Hadlock Field, including important health and safety protocols. The Sea Dogs are closely following guidelines from the state of Maine and Major League Baseball to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at the ballpark.

ON-FIELD PERSONNEL:

Major League Baseball was able to successfully return to the field in 2020 thanks to a stringent testing and contact tracing program. Their plan in the return to play at the Minor League level will follow similar guidelines.

EMPLOYEES:

All game-day staff will participate in an online training prior to working their first shift. The training will review all safety measures being implemented at the ballpark. In addition, as the protocols evolve with best practices, we will schedule additional training for game-day staff.

Each staff member will be required to be masked at all times while at the ballpark. Each staff member will report to their workstation when they arrive at work.

Employees will be required to self-evaluate for COVID symptoms prior to leaving for work by utilizing the self-checker code form provided by the CDC.
