9. Marcelo Mayer Walk Off

8. Alex Binelas Grand Slam on the Third of July

There’s nothing better than a sold-out crowd to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday at Hadlock Field. The Sea Dogs celebrated a day early on the third with a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning.

7. Isaac Coffey Stays Strong with 11 Strikeouts (Twice)

Isaac Coffey had a dominant month of August going 2-1 with a 1.35 ERA in four starts, but two of those appearances stood out among the rest. On August 6th and 22nd he fanned 11 opposing hitters, tying a career-high. In addition to the strikeouts, Coffey did not issue a walk in the entire month.

6. Roman Anthony's Inside the Park Home Run

Celebrating the Fourth of July in style, Roman Anthony motored around the bases in New Hampshire smashing Portland’s first inside-the-park home run since April 16, 2015. It was Anthony’s tenth homer of the year with the Sea Dogs.

5. Kyle Teel Dominates in Altoona

Kyle Teel provided a boost to Portland’s offense on June 3rd in Altoona. Down to the final strike and trailing 4-2 to the Curve, Teel blasted a go-ahead grand slam to give Portland the 5-4 lead. He was later named Eastern League Player of the Week for an exceptional series hitting.417 (10-for-24) with six runs scored, three home runs, 11 RBI, and two stolen bases in six games.

4. Phillip Sikes Showcases Speed with Inside-The-Park Home Run

August 24th provided a first at Hadlock Field since September 1, 2000. Phillip Sikes sped around the bases for an inside-the-park home run, the second by a Sea Dog this season. Quincy Foster hit the last inside-the-parker at Hadlock Field for Portland.

3. Roman Anthony Displays Monster Power

On July 31st, Roman Anthony demolished two home runs against the Erie SeaWolves. His first of the night was 116mph off the bat, the hardest-hit ball by any Red Sox player last season.

2. Emma Tiedemann and Rylee Pay Make Red Sox History

Portland broadcasters Emma Tiedemann and Rylee Pay became the first female duo in the history of the Boston Red Sox to broadcast a game on August 26th. They joined Dave O’Brien and former Sea Dog Kevin Youkilis in the booth.

1. Kristian Campbell. Enough Said.

Across three levels in 2024, Campbell finished the year with 20 home runs and 77 RBI with a .330 average. In just 56 games with the Sea Dogs, he hit .362 (77-for-213) with 17 doubles, three triples and eight home runs. Campbell was named Eastern League MVP and Baseball America Player of the Year. He is just the second Sea Dog ever to be selected as an Eastern League MVP, the first since Kevin Millar in 1997. Campbell was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the fourth round (pick 132) of the 2023 MLB Draft out of Georgia Tech.
