The Potomac Nationals are back at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Monday for the longest homestand of the year, eight games! The homestand includes the Trea Turner Road Runner Bobblehead, Autism Awareness Day with a jersey auction, Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Night, fireworks on both Friday and Saturday

The Potomac Nationals are back at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Monday for the longest homestand of the year, eight games! The homestand includes the Trea Turner Road Runner Bobblehead, Autism Awareness Day with a jersey auction, Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Night, fireworks on both Friday and Saturday night, plus a special picnic on Memorial Day. The P-Nats welcome the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Royals) for a four-game series first, followed by the Winston-Salem Dash (White Sox) for another four-game series.

Monday, May 21st
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm

  • Dollar Monday, presented by The Washington Post: Dollar grandstand tickets and dollar hot dogs, while supplies last
  • Dollar grandstand tickets can only be purchased on the day of the game

Tuesday, May 22nd
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm
  • Deuces Wild Tuesday: $2 grandstand tickets, $2 player-performance based concessions specials and $2 Wild Card concessions specials, all while supplies last
  • $2 grandstand tickets can only be purchased on the day of the game

Wednesday, May 23rd
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm
  • Winning Wednesday: Nine Innings of Winning: one lucky fan will win a prize each inning; if the P-Nats win, fans can redeem their ticket for one of equal value to the next Wednesday home game (6/6)
  • Cash Dogs: a select number of hot dogs will be wrapped with cash; purchase one (or several) for an opportunity to win
  • Baseball Bingo: fans can pick up a card at Fan Assistance on their way in for a chance to get a bingo and win a prize

Thursday, May 24th
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm
  • Thursday Cheers: dollar drink specials during the game
  • College Night Pfitz Parties: cornhole, water pong and trivia in the brand-new Pfitzner Stadium Party Zone
  • Scavenger Hunt Night: fans can participate in a scavenger hunt by tracking clues throughout the ballpark; the first 15 fans to think quick and act fast will win a prize

Friday, May 25th
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm
  • Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Night: anyone with the name of one of the Sanderson sisters, Winnie, Mary or Sarah or the name Max or Thackery can purchase a discounted grandstand ticket for $5; a black flame candle, the eyeball book and Thackery the cat will all be on site; plus tributes to the movie through clips, sound effects and more throughout the night
  • (Just Past) Halfway to Halloween Night: kids can trick-or-treat at different spots throughout the ballpark (pre-game until supplies last) and there will be a costume contest
  • Graduation Night: all graduates are invited out to Northwest Federal Field to celebrate their accomplishment; there will be a pre-game graduate parade, every graduate receives one FREE ticket with the purchase of a ticket, bring a hat for a ceremonial hat toss
  • Post-game Fireworks, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union and WTOP
  • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill

Saturday, May 26th
First pitch: 6:35pm                  Gates open: 5pm
  • Trea Turner Road Runner Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Cowles Parkway Ford (first 1,250 fans): the next bobblehead in the P-Nats' heralded half-human, half-animal series will honor Turner's speed
  • Need for Speed Night: one lucky fan will have the chance to "steal" second base during an in-game promotion; the fastest men in Potomac Baseball franchise history will be highlighted; there will be video board clips; a special raffle will be held at fan assistance; the ballpark will be divided up into nine car names from the video game Need for Speed, corresponding to each of the P-Nats players in the batting order. The player who steals the most bases will win their section a free ticket to a future P-Nats game excluding July 4th, which fans can pick up on their way out of the ballpark.
  • Post-game Fireworks, presented by WTOP
  • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill
  • Pre-game Band in the Café Area: Cadillac Romeos will be performing for fans

Sunday, May 27th
First pitch: 1:05pm                  Gates open: Noon
  • Autism Awareness Day: the Potomac Nationals will be raising awareness for autism, with the day being highlighted by the jersey auction; there will be P-Nats puzzles raffled off
  • Autism Awareness Jersey Auction presented by Extreme Custom Collision: puzzle piece themed jerseys will be auctioned off via a silent auction during the game, with proceeds benefitting Autism Speaks. The auction begins once gates open at noon and will run through the last out of the sixth inning. Winners will be able to take a photo post-game with the player or coach who wore and autographed the jersey.
  • Dr. Seuss Day: guess how many Swedish fish are in a jar at Fan Assistance; books will be handed out as prizes during the game; the ballpark will be divided up into nine of his most famous books, corresponding to each of the P-Nats players in the batting order. If a player hits a homerun, that section will win a free ticket to a future P-Nats game excluding July 4th, which fans can pick up on their way out of the ballpark.
  • Reading Program Day: students who have participated in Uncle Slam's Reading Program will be recognized for their achievements in a pre-game parade
  • Sun Safety Day, presented by American Cancer Society: the first 1,000 fans will receive a sunscreen sample courtesy of Blue Lizard; both sun safety and skin cancer information will be presented to fans
  • Kids Day Sunday:
    • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill
    • Kids Exclusive Post-Game Player Autograph Signing: Kids 12 & under can receive autographs from two P-Nats players in the café area after the game
    • Kids Eat Free: the first 250 kids 12 & under will receive a free drink and hot dog
    • Face Painting: kids can have their face painted by Facing Angels in the concourse (charge applies)
  • Virginia529 Super Saver Sunday: show your Virginia529 Smart Savers Club Card at the ticket office to receive two free grandstand tickets to the game

Monday, May 28th
First pitch: 1:05pm                  Gates open: Noon

  • Memorial Day Picnic, presented by Honor Brewing: fans can upgrade to a special picnic; the menu will include ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, pasta salad, soft drinks and draft beer specials; plus all purchasers will receive a koozie courtesy of Honor Brewing
  • Military Appreciation Jerseys, presented by Reality Realty: the P-Nats will wear these on select games throughout the season to recognize local military members and to thank them for all that they do for our country
