Ryan Zimmerman Named New Voice of the Quakes

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIF. – The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are proud to announce Ryan Zimmerman as the new “Voice of the Quakes” ahead of the 2026 season. As the Broadcasting and Media Relations Manager, he will have the play-by-play call of all 132 Quakes games on MiLB.TV, Bally Sports LiveTM, iHeart

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIF. – The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are proud to announce Ryan Zimmerman as the new “Voice of the Quakes” ahead of the 2026 season. As the Broadcasting and Media Relations Manager, he will have the play-by-play call of all 132 Quakes games on MiLB.TV, Bally Sports LiveTM, iHeart Radio, and the TuneIn app.

Zimmerman joins Rancho Cucamonga after spending the 2025 season as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Associate with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A, Houston Astros). Prior to that season, he served as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Gary SouthShore RailCats of the American Association of Professional Baseball (MLB Partner League) from 2022-23.

Additionally, for the past four seasons, he has served as the radio broadcaster of University of Vermont women’s basketball. Over that time, he provided the soundtrack for three America East Conference championships and three NCAA Tournament games, where his work has been featured as part of Westwood One’s tournament coverage.

Zimmerman takes over for Mike Lindskog following his promotion to General Manager after 16 seasons as the “Voice of the Quakes” and Public Relations Director.

“I am so proud and honored to join the Quakes organization,” Zimmerman said. “This is such an exciting time in Rancho Cucamonga with the team re-joining the Los Angeles Angels organization, and I am thrilled take on the responsibility of ushering in a new era of Quakes baseball and introduce the fans the new crop of future stars who will soon take the field. I am really looking forward to getting the new season of Quakes baseball underway!”

A native of Chicago, Ill., Zimmerman graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Applied Mathematics and Spanish.

Opening Night for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes is Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM against the Inland Empire 66ers.
