The Fireworks started early in Visalia, as JD Dix capped an eight-run first off Jholbran Herder (3-3) with a three-run blast, one of four hits in his home debut, as the Rawhide grabbed a commanding 8-0 lead.

Samuel Munoz accounted for Rancho’s only other run with a sac fly.
Visalia reliever Ryan Bruno (3-1) tossed two hitless innings to earn the win in relief.
