Although there's plenty of unfinished business left in the 2017 season, the Red Wings released their 2018 schedule on Friday. The 22nd season of baseball at Frontier Field will kick-off on Friday, April 6 at 6:05 pm against the Buffalo Bisons.
The 70-game home slate includes 33 weekend dates (47%) as well as popular summer holidays Memorial Day (Monday, May 28), Independence Day (Wednesday, July 4) and Labor Day (Monday, September 3).

The Wings host the New York Yankees top-affiliate, Scranton/WB RailRiders, on two occasions next season: June 22-24 and July 30 - August 2. Meanwhile, the Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston) come to town for three separate series: May 18-20, July 4-5 and August 21-23.
As announced earlier this season, Thursdays Are For The Plates! Rochester will take the field as the Plates for all 10 Thursday home games next season and for the first time in 2018 on Thursday, May 3 at 7:05 pm. More details on Plates days/nights to be announced throughout the offseason.
The Wings are home for 12 games in April, followed by 14 in May, 14 in June, 12 in July, 15 in August and 3 in September.
The Triple-A slate takes a three-day hiatus for the All-Star Break July 9-11 in Columbus, OH.
A complete lineup of promotions, including fireworks, giveaways and autograph appearances will be announced early next year.
Season seats for the 2018 season are available for purchase now by visiting the Red Wings Ticket Office during normal business hours or by calling 454-1001. Mini plans will be available in the coming months with single-game tickets going on sale in 2018.
