Twitter Tuesday May 14

Join us during our Tuesday, May 14 home game as @RocRedWings and @SpikesAndMittsy proudly present the first Red Wings Twitter Tuesday event.

We first announced this hyperbole-free, monumental social media foray shortly after 5 pm ET on May 13, and the thunderous response was felt all the way to Minnesota. Several of our followers pre-qualified themselves for some amazing prizes and opportunities that we can't list here, mainly because we are still figuring this whole Twitter thing out. But they will include, when you use the hashtag #WingsTuesTweet after 6 pm ET Tuesday, the chance to:

* guess interesting, and possibly even true, trivia questions about the Voice of the Wings™ @JoshWhetzel - with the winners being brought up to the Hyundai Broadcast Booth to observe Josh in action during the game - and of course, tweet about the life-changing experience of seeing Josh broadcast in person. (This presumes you are actually in the ballpark, and Josh remembers not to lock his door.)

* tweet your seat location during two different half innings, and get an amazingly huge payoff that you will want to tweet to the world (This presumes you are actually in the ballpark, and you won't be scared off if a bunch of Wings staffers and our mascots run toward you in your seating section)

* have your tweets displayed on the left field video board during the end of the third and sixth innings (anyone, anywhere can participate, but it will be much cooler if you are actually here)

* provide a caption for our lead Messenger Post Media Pic of the Day (need not be in the ballpark to participate).
