2018 Promo Schedule Celebrates the 'Gades 25th Season

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - Whether it's a blast from the past or a blast of a different kind, the Hudson Valley Renegades 2018 promotional schedule has something for every fan in our 25^th season.
Highlighting this season's schedule will be two new appearances and a post-game concert. Elias Harger who plays the role of Max Fuller, son of DJ Tanner-Fuller on the Netflix series "Fuller House," will be at Dutchess Stadium on Tuesday July 17 for a meet and greet with fans. David "The Bullet" Smith, the Human Cannonball will be making his first ever launch at The Dutch on Friday July 20^th. He became a national phenomenon in 2012 as he was a quarter finalist on TV's America's Got Talent. On Saturday August 18^th, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band will be playing a two-hour post game concert. If you are a fan of The Dave Matthews Band, you will not want to miss this game and concert.
2018 will see several giveaways at The Dutch, featuring some familiar ones and some new ones that you will absolutely want to add to your collection. On Opening Night, Thursday June 21^st, fans will receive a 2018 Renegades Magnet Schedule. The first 1,000 fans 21 and over will receive a unique wine tumbler on Monday June 25^th. You will not want to miss the game on Wednesday July 11^th as the first 1,000 fans will receive a Renegades Replica Championship Ring. It is an exact replica as the one that our players received for winning the 2017 NYPL championship! On Thursday July 12^th, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Renegades 25^th Year Baseball Card Set, celebrating the rich history of the Renegades both on and off the field, and in addition, we will also have our first Craft Beer Festival where fans 21 and over will be able to sample some of the best craft beers available in the Hudson Valley region. On Monday July 30^th, the first 1,000 fans will receive a jersey T-shirt, which will be a replica of the new home jersey that the 'Gades are wearing this season.  
On Monday August 6^th, the first 1,000 fans will receive a 2018 Renegades team card set and after the game, the players will be available to sign their baseball cards for fans in attendance.     
On Thursday August 16^th, we are bringing back one of our most popular giveaways ever as the first 1,000 fans will receive an umbrella featuring the Renegades original team colors of burgundy and green. On Sunday September 2^nd, the first 1,000 fans 12 and under will receive a Renegades backpack, just in time to head back to school the following week.
The Renegades 25^TH season will include 13 post-game fireworks displays. These will be taking place on opening night, Thursday June 21^st and our Independence Day spectacular display on Thursday, July 5^th. Other fireworks games include Friday June 22^nd, Saturday June 23^rd, Friday July 6^th, Friday July 13^th, Saturday July 21^st, Saturday August 11^th, Friday August 17^th, Friday August 24^th, Saturday August 25^th, Saturday September 1^st and on our final 2018 regular season home game on Labor Day, Monday September 3^rd.  
The Renegades have had some very popular theme nights and special event nights throughout the team's history, and the 2018 season is certainly no different. Here are some of the highlights…  Our Easter celebration on Sunday June 24^th will feature an Easter Egg hunt for the kids and a very special adult Easter Egg Hunt where one lucky lady will find a special "sack-o-gems", containing $4000 of real gems including diamonds, rubies and pearls. We will be celebrating Rookie and Rene's 20 plus years of wedded bliss by watching them renew their vows in a memorable pre-game ceremony on Thursday July 19^th. Our very popular Christmas Eve and Christmas Day games will be on Friday July 21^st and Saturday July 22^nd. Make sure you bring your favorite Pirate and Princess in full costume to The Dutch on Sunday August 5^th. Our extremely popular Star Wars Night will be on Sunday August 12^th. Authentic Star Wars characters will be here for meet and greets and great photo ops! The lights will be bright at The Dutch on Broadway Night where our friends from the County Players will be performing all throughout the game on Friday August 17^th. We will be celebrating the Hudson Valley's Best on Sunday August 19^th where we will have our own county fair featuring local vendors on hand to show off their best Hudson Valley themed items and we will also have a petting zoo at the ballpark. Our first ever Dive Bar Crawl will take place on Thursday August 23^rd. Come out and sample some of the best craft beers in several different Dive Bar themed locations throughout the ballpark. If you are a fan of "Game of Thrones", you will not want to miss the game on Friday August 24^th. Sunday August 26^th will feature our Hudson Valley Comic Con night along with Rascal's Birthday Bash and on Tuesday August 28^th, we will be celebrating everything about football during our Two Minute Drill Night.
In addition, the 2018 schedule will include 6 Saturday Dinner Night Out nights where you will be able to come to The Dutch and fill up on some of your favorite foods. June 23^rd will be our Kickoff to Summer Barbeque, July 21^st will be Chinese Takeout Night, August 11^th will be our Burger Fest and Irish food night, August 18^th will feature our Heart of Havana Night featuring great Cuban cuisine, August 25^th will be our summertime Oktoberfest and finally, on September 1^st, we will be serving up some of the best comfort food you've ever had! Saturday Dinner Night Out meals will be available for purchase at these 6 Renegades games this coming season. This season will also feature two peanut-free games so those with peanut allergies can come out and enjoy Renegades baseball at The Dutch. These games will be on Wednesday July 11^th and Sunday August 5^th.      
Monday through Friday games are scheduled to begin at 7:05 PM, Saturday games at 6:05 PM (with the exception of Saturday, June 23^rd which will start at 7:05 PM) and Sunday games will begin at 5:05 PM. The game on Tuesday July 31^st will begin at 11:05 AM.              
The Hudson Valley Renegades are a Class-A Short Season Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and are a part of the New York-Penn League.
