Rain Out Pushes Start of 2017 Season Back to Tomorrow

ABERDEEN, MD-Tonight's season opener between the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Aberdeen Ironbirds has been postponed due to rain. No makeup date has been announced.

 

The two teams will play just one game tomorrow at 7:05 as the lone contest of their series. The Renegades will start right-hander Austin Franklin against Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton who is on a rehab assignment. Britton will pitch one inning and be followed by righty Nick Gruener.

 

Hudson Valley opens the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday as they host the Staten Island Yankees at 7:05. Tickets can be purchased online at hvrenegades.com or by calling the ticket office at 845-838-0094.
