RockHounds Acquire Jake Goebbert

The RockHounds already have movement on the roster after a day into the season.  Yesterday, pitcher Josh Stinson was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles.  Today, the A's announced a trade with Houston for Jake Goebbert (traded for Travis Blackley).  The left handed outfielder has spent parts of the last two seasons in the Texas League with the Corpus Christi Hooks, batting over .300 during both stints.

The RockHounds continue their season opening road trip tonight in Springdale, Arkansas and hope to build on an 11-0 opening night win behind Zach Neal.
