Be The Light: Volunteer Sign-Up

Volunteer to help decorate string lights on houses facing Bidwell Elementary / Cabrillo Park. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all volunteers.

Toy Drive: December 3 โ€“ December 11

Help us make the season brighter for local children by donating a new, unwrapped toy! All donations will be split between Toys for Tots Yolo County and CHiPs for Kids to support families throughout the region.

Toys for Tots โ€“ Yolo County

Toys for Tots is seeking volunteers for weekday warehouse shifts and their Big Day of Giving on Saturday, December 13.

The program serves hundreds of families each holiday and is especially in need of Russian- and Spanish-speaking translators for distribution day.

Since the Sacramento River Catsโ€™ inaugural season in 2000, community involvement has been a cornerstone of a mission to help build a stronger Sacramento. River Cats management, employees and fans have collectively volunteered countless hours by visiting schools, partnering with non-profit organizations, and engaging with civic groups. The initiative underscores the team's steadfast belief in giving back, emphasizing the importance of time and financial resources to support community growth.

Through Cats Care, volunteer assistance has been provided to the following groups:
