Title: Sales and
Marketing Intern (Summer 2008) – Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees
As an intern with the
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, you will be exposed to many different aspects of
the company. This can include accompanying account managers on sales
appointments, learning about promotions and marketing bids, as well as working
with other departments. You will be exposed to both leadership and team
building activities and are encouraged to make suggestions and ask questions.

Office Responsibilities

Responsible
for control and monitoring of Sales & Marketing Inventory

Maintain
database of names collected during the season

Be responsible
for the efficiency of the database creation and self-directed in improving the
system

Lead
generation for Ticket Sales

Mailing
Preparation for Ticket Sales

Responsible
for the distribution of pocket schedules

Participate in
grass roots marketing efforts

Responsible
for preparation of sales presentations

Must be
comfortable on the phone

Maintain 2008
season feedback database
Game Day Responsibilities

Staffing of
Information Booth during all home games

Season Ticket
Holder gift distribution

2008 SWB
Yankees group hat distribution

Oversee
hospitality parties to ensure quality control

Assist in
stadium preparation pre-game

Work extended
hours if necessary, including weekends
