Shuckers to host Barry Lyons Baseball Fall Wooden Bat League Showcase games at MGM Park

BILOXI, MS - The Barry Lyons Baseball Fall Wooden Bat League Showcase Games, in partnership with the Biloxi Shuckers will be held at MGM Park in Biloxi on Thurs., Oct. 26. The doubleheader will begin at 5:30 pm with a six-inning game that features Mississippi Gulf Coast High School freshmen and sophomores followed by the juniors and seniors in a seven-inning contest at 7:30 pm.
Tickets will be available on the day of the games at the northwest entrance of MGM Park for $10 with kids 12 and under receiving entry for just $5. The MGM Park gates will open at 4:30 pm and a concession stand will be open for fans.

These Showcase Games are the culmination of a six-week fall league, which is an instructional and developmental program organized and operated by Shuckers Team Ambassador Barry Lyons. The league consists of four teams and 48 players from Mississippi Gulf Coast High Schools competing in games twice a week at the Biloxi Sports Complex under the supervision of former Major League catcher and Shuckers Team Ambassador Barry Lyons and his staff.
The Shuckers open up their 2018 season on the road at Montgomery before their home opener against Mississippi on April 11. More information on the fourth season of Biloxi Shuckers baseball will be available at biloxishuckers.com as the offseason progresses.
