Play Ball Weekend

Friday, June 9th

Play Ball Weekend is a community initiative by MLB to bring boys and girls across the country into ballparks to participate in baseball activities.

All 30 MLB and 120 MiLB teams will be participating and will hold events from June 9-11 to teach kids more about the game we love!

June 9 Event Schedule

The Patriots Pitch, Hit & Run event will be split into 4 age groups with a maximum of 75 participants per age group

  • Franklin Sports will be providing bat and ball sets for the first 200 participants to use for the event, and take home with them after
  • Three stations will be setup on the field: Running, Hitting and Pitching

Pitching: Franklin will provide a pitching target to throw into

Hitting: Markers will be setup in the outfield to measure the distance of each hit, and record points accordingly

Running: Kids will be timed on how fast they can run (base to base time for each kid)

Pitch, Hit & Run event will take place on the field of TD Bank Ballpark from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

  • 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: 7-8 years old (FULL)
  • 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: 9-10 years old (FULL)
  • 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: 11-12 years old (FULL)
  • 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: 13-14 years old (FULL)
