Notables:
- Springfield lost four of six to Arkansas. It’s their first series loss of the year.
- Since starting the season 9-0, the Cardinals are 5-7 in their last twelve games.
- The Cardinals trailed 8-1 in the fourth. They scored seven unanswered to ultimately tie the game in the eighth.
- Matt Lloyd hit a grand slam in the fourth inning, the first grand slam for the Cardinals this year.
- Jacob Buchberger followed Lloyd’s slam with a solo shot. It was the second time Springfield hit back-to-back homers.
