About Lee Smith
Inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame on December 9, 2018, Smith spent 18 years in Major League Baseball, including three with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1990-93. He spent most of his career out of bullpen and was the first pitcher in MLB history to reach 400 saves, holding the all-time record for most career saves at 478 from 1993 until 2006.
