Tampa, Fla. - The Tampa Tarpons invite fans to celebrate Independence Day at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Wednesday, July 4th. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and the Tarpons will battle the Clearwater Threshers at 6:30 p.m. After the game, fans are invited to stay for a fireworks display.
As a thank you to our "Everyday Heroes," the Tarpons are offering free admission to all current and former EMT, firefighters, police officers and military personnel. Showing valid identification is required.
Players and coaches will be wearing custom Stars & Stripes ball caps. Tarpons players will sign a set of ball caps that will be available for bid in an on-site silent auction during the game. After the game, auction winners will be invited onto the field to meet the player that signed their hat. Proceeds from the auction will benefit My Warrior's Place.
