Score a Jose Lima bobblehead: Friday, 8/24

It's "Lima Time"! The Mud Hens will celebrate the life of fan-favorite Jose Lima on Friday, August 24. Be one of the first 2,000 fans entering Fifth Third Field and receive a free Jose Lima bobblehead, courtesy of Subway.

Lima played parts of three seasons in Toledo between 1994-96, posting a record of 20-17 in 50 appearances in a Mud Hens uniform. He quickly made an impression on Toledo fans with his outgoing personality and passionate displays on the mound.
Lima went on to play 13 seasons in the majors with Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, LA Dodgers and NY Mets. He died in May of 2010 at the age of 37.
