The Whitecaps responded in the bottom of the sixth, as Justice Bigbie cracked an RBI single to cut the lead to 2-1. Wisconsin added vital insurance runs in the seventh, as Alex Hall and Robert Moore added RBI singles to extend the advantage to 4-1. West Michigan failed to rally, managing one base hit in the final three innings as they fell short 4-1.
