Early Friday, consistent rains swept through Fox Cities Stadium, making the field surface unplayable for the Whitecaps-Timber Rattlers evening matchup.
Friday’s game is scheduled to be made up as part of a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 2:05 pm. Both games will last seven innings in duration, with a 30-minute break in-between contests. The postponement marks the second time this season that the Whitecaps have not played on an intended gameday, while Saturday is slated to become the first doubleheader for West Michigan this season.
