Wichita, KS – Evan Sisk’s pitched the final two innings to close out a 2-1 win over the Frisco RoughRiders to take a two games to one lead in the series. Jair Camargo got things started for the Tubs after he slammed an RBI-double in the bottom of the first.

Jair Camargo got things started for the Tubs after he slammed an RBI-double in the bottom of the first. Camargo went one-for-four. The Tubs picked up one more run first and went the remainder of the game without a run.
The Roughriders split the Tub’s lead in the top of the fifth off Ezequiel Duran’s RBI-double, but were unable to pick up any more runs.
Matt Canterino started for the Tub. He pitched a shutout 3 2/3 innings with two hits and four strikeouts.
The Tub’s bullpen pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed one run. Melvi Acosta earned the win in relief.
Notes: The Surge added pitchers Melvi Acosta and Andrew Cazebas from Class A Cedar Rapids. Kody Funderburk is tied for team and league with five wins. Evan Sisk earned his first save with Wichita.
