KIDS RUN THE BASES: Following any of the Dash's weekend contests, kids are invited to run the bases, powered by New Balance Winston-Salem.
NATIONAL COTTON CANDY DAY: Small cotton candy bags will be available for just $1 during Monday's series opener against Salem.
ABOUT THE RED SOX: The Salem Red Sox, Boston's High-A Carolina League affiliate, will be invading the downtown facility for the second time in two weeks. While the Red Sox won three of four in Winston-Salem from July 20-23, the Dash's lone victory proved to be memorable.  In the series finale, Winston-Salem erased deficits in the ninth, 10th and 11th innings, with Joel Booker delivering a walk-off single to win it. Salem still has several top prospects on its roster, including Josh Ockimey, who is rated the eighth-best prospect in the Red Sox system per MLB Pipeline.
ABOUT THE NATIONALS: Potomac is the last remaining team Winston-Salem has yet to face this year. Washington's Class A-Advanced affiliate, the P-Nats have struggled this year after making the playoffs last season. Following a 33-37 finish in the first half, Potomac remains under .500 in the second half. One bright spot for the club was Washington's top prospect Victor Robles, who was promoted to Double-A Harrisburg on Monday. Robles hit .289 with seven home runs and 33 RBIs in 77 games with the Nationals. Overall, Winston-Salem owns an 81-70 record against the Nationals since the franchise became the Dash prior to the 2009 season.
BROADCAST INFORMATION: 600 AM-WSJS and 101.3 FM will carry Thursday's matchup against the Nationals on the radio and online at wsjs.com. My 48 will televise the action during Sunday's contest with Potomac. All seven contests will be available at wsdash.com/broadcast and the TuneIn Radio App (search "Dash baseball"), with every Dash home game on MiLB.tv.
