Group Outings FAQ

Below, you will find answers to some frequently asked questions regarding group outings and private hospitality at BB&T Ballpark.

Do I need to pay a deposit when reserving group tickets?

When reserving a group outing, a $100 non-refundable deposit is due. For hospitality outings, a $200 non-refundable deposit is due with the reservation.

How long before the game can I increase or decrease the number of tickets for my group?

If you would like to increase/decrease your group size, please contact your Dash Representative immediately. If there is still availability, we will accommodate you with additional tickets. Reducing your group size must be done at least three weeks before your game date and must be done before the final payment.

When is final payment due?

Group tickets must be paid in full at least three weeks before your game date. This allows enough time for you to receive your tickets and distribute them to your group. If there are any last minute additions to your group, please contact your group representative to check on availability.

Do small children need tickets?

Children ages three and under do not need a ticket as long as they sit on their parent's lap. If the child requires a seat, a ticket must be purchased at the group rate. Group ticket prices are the same for all fans ages three and over.

When do I get my tickets?

Your tickets will be printed upon receipt of final payment. You can either pick them up from your Dash Representative or we can mail them to you. If there are tickets you cannot distribute before the game, we can discuss the opportunity to put additional tickets at the Will Call window, under the individual names of your guests.

Do the Dash have anything to help me promote my group outing?

If you would like an email, a flyer, or even a mascot visit (based on availability) to help promote your group outing, please let us know. We will email you a flyer with your group's information that can be placed in break rooms or on bulletin boards.

Can I bring food into the ballpark?

No outside food or drinks are permitted inside of BB&T Ballpark. If you have a dietary need please contact your Dash Representative a week prior to your game date.

Can I have alcohol included with my group outing?

Alcohol is not included in the price of your group outing but can be purchased beforehand from your Dash Representative. If you would like to provide adult beverages for your group, we have Bolt Bucks available that can be used toward the purchase of beer.

What if it rains at my game?

The Dash make every effort to play every home game. All updates regarding weather are displayed on the team website and social media as soon as decisions are made. Please contact your Dash Representative for more details on weather-related scenarios.

Where do I receive my FREE Dash hat?

Groups that receive hats with their package will have vouchers for FREE Dash hats that can be redeemed at the sales table that is located near the Picnic Terrace. You will receive your vouchers with your tickets and can redeem them the day of your game. If you are unsure if your group receives hats, please contact your Dash Representative.

My tickets are being left at the Will Call window. Where is that located?

The Will Call Windows are located at the box office by the main gates of the ballpark and are the ticket windows to the far left.

How early can I get into the ballpark?

The ballpark opens one hour before the scheduled start of the game.

My group has a first pitch representative. Where should that person go?

Please let your Dash Representative know the name of your first pitch representative at least one week before your game. The first pitch representative should get to the ballpark at least 45 minutes before game time and meet a member of our "Dash Pack" at the customer service kiosk behind homeplate 30 minutes prior to game time. 

My group is participating in a pre-game performance. When should everyone get to the ballpark?

If your group is participating in anything pre-game, the group should arrive at least one hour before the game. Your Dash Representative will provide complete details. 

My group is participating in something pre-game. Where should everyone meet?

There are designated meeting spots in the ballpark for certain pre-game activities. If someone is throwing out a first pitch for your group, that person should go to Customer Service. If your group is singing the National Anthem or presenting the colors, your group should meet at the area near the right field bridge. If your group is involved in a parade, your group should meet at the area by the flag pole. Your Dash Representative will provide greater detail in the weeks prior to your game. 

When will my group's name go up on the scoreboard?

Every group will have their name announced and displayed on the scoreboard during the middle of the 2nd inning.

Where is the ATM located at the ballpark?

The ATM is located next to the concession stands behind home plate on the concourse.

How do I get to the ballpark?

From the West: Merge onto I-40 E. Merge onto I-40 E/US 421 S via exit 188 toward Winston-Salem. Take Broad St. exit. Turn right onto Broad St. and then make a quick left into ballpark entrance.

From the East: Merge onto I-40 W toward US-421 N/Winston-Salem. Merge onto US 421 N. Merge onto I-40W/US-421 N via exit 206 toward Kernersville/WinstonSalem Downtown. Take Peters Creek Parkway exit, Exit 5A. Turn right onto Peters Creek Parkway. Turn right onto Broad St., and then turn into the ballpark entrance (on the opposite side of the Business 40 West Bound ramp).

From the North: Merge onto US-52 S. Merge onto I-40W via exit 109B. Take Peters Creek Parkway exit, Exit 5A. Turn right onto Peters Creek Parkway. Turn right onto Broad St., and then turn into the ballpark entrance (on the opposite side of the Business 40 West Bound ramp).

From the South: Merge onto US-52 N. Merge onto I-40W via exit 109B. Take Peters Creek Parkway exit, Exit 5A. Turn right onto Peters Creek Parkway. Turn right onto Broad St., and then turn into the ballpark entrance (on the opposite side of the Business 40 West Bound ramp).

How much does it cost to park?

Parking is $6 per car. The parking lots are located behind the stadium (outfield direction), the surrounding areas adjacent to the stadium, and in the public parking garage downtown (a shuttle is provided on Fridays and Saturdays). Pre-paid parking vouchers are available. For more information, contact your Dash Representative.

How much does bus parking cost and does the bus driver need a ticket to enter the game?

Bus parking varies. Your Dash Representative can assist in bus parking. Bus drivers need to purchase a ticket to enter the ballpark and should call in advance or get a ticket from the group they are coming with to the ballpark.
