GRAND CHUTE, WI – Tuesday’ series opener between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Cedar Rapids Kernels at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cites Stadium has been rained out. The teams have scheduled a doubleheader for Wednesday afternoon.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s game may exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value for any remaining Wisconsin home games over the remainder of the 2024 regular season.

The make-up game will be played as part of a single-admission doubleheader with two seven-inning games. Game one is scheduled to start at 12:10pm. The nightcap will start no earlier than thirty minutes after the conclusion of game one.

The game one pitching matchup will be Patricio Aquino (0-0, 0.00) for the Timber Rattlers against Andrew Morris (0-0, 0.90) for the Kernels. In the nightcap, Wisconsin has Tate Kuehner (0-0, 13.50) as the starter to face Zebby Matthews (1-0, 1.80).

Fans age 55 and older receive a box seat ticket, a Timber Rattlers baseball cap, a beverage, and a brat or hot dog for $25 courtesy of Network Health and 103.9 WVBO as part of the Silver Foxes Special on Wednesday. This offer is available online this season by using the link above and using coupon code “FOX”. Fans may order the Silver Foxes Special in person at the Box Office or over the phone (920) 733-4152, too. The Silver Foxes Special is also available to active and retired military personnel.

If you can’t make it out to the ballpark, there are several ways to follow the action. CW-14 will televise the first game of the doubleheader starting at noon. AM 1280, WNAM will broadcast both games on the radio and the internet starting with the Community Blood Center Pregame Show at 11:50am. Fans may also watch the game on the Bally Live App.
