Four-run ninth leads to Walkoff Win over Kernels

April 7, 2012: The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels 7-6 at home.

April 7, 2012: The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels 7-6 at home.

The game was tied 3-3 heading into the top of the ninth inning, but the Kernels took a 6-3 lead with three two-out runs.

Wisconsin started their rally in the bottom of the ninth on a walk to John Dishon and an RBI double by Chadwin Stang. Then, Greg Hopkins and Jason Rogers followed with walks to load the bases.

Ben McMahan tied the game with a two-run single and Parker Berberet won the game with an RBI single for the game-winner.

Another notable game on April 7 happened at Quad Cities in 2017.

Wisconsin won 1-0 as Trey Supak retired the first 17 batters he faced in the game. Monte Harrison hit a solo homer in the top of the eighth inning for the only run of the game.

Luke Barker entered the game in the eighth and got out of jams in both the eighth and ninth innings with the winning runs on base by getting double plays to end each frame.
