The Bees took a 6–2 lead with single runs in the eighth and ninth innings. Wisconsin tried to rally in the bottom of the ninth. Eddie Silva scored the first run of the inning on a wild pitch (BUR 6, WIS 3). There were two outs with runners at first and second when Kenny Corey singled home a run (BUR 6, WIS 4). Gabriel Garcia was next and he drew a walk to load the bases for Nic Pierre. Pierre struck out on three straight pitches, but strike three got away from the catcher. The throw to first was wild to allow the tying runs to score. Garcia raced all the way around from first and beat the throw to the plate to score the winning run in the most unlikely walkoff victory…ever. Here's the full play.
